A 50th wedding anniversary dinner honoring Al and Dixie Osborne was held in Norman on July 9, 2011. They were married July 14, 1961 at Valley View Baptist Mission in Oklahoma City, Ok.
Dixie graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. She has been busy raising three children, Chris, Craig, and Karri, and worked at Delta Faucet for twenty years.
Al graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City. He has worked for Acme Heat and Air as foreman and also for the Chickasha School Systems as maintenance foremen for some 15 years retiring from there.
They love being grandparents to 8 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. The children and grand children came from Texas, Alabama, and all over Oklahoma to celebrate with their parents and grandparents.
