James Earl and Millie Linville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on Sept. 21, 1962 by Dr. Jerold McBride, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The couple have made Chickasha their home most of their life together.
They are blessed with two children: a son, James Trampas Linville and a daughter, Sandra (Sandy) Michelle and her husband, Mark Crowder. Double blessings were extended with four grandchildren: two granddaughters, Brittany Davison and husband Samuel of Moore and Kelsey Ann Linville of Chickasha; and two grandsons: Sean and Jared Crowder; three great granddaughters, Sarah Michelle and Karaline Grace Davison of Moore and their anticipated sister Natalie Rose Davison; and Trinity Paige Crowder of Altus.
Celebration of their marriage began with a champagne breakfast in the home with family and a late evening dinner for two at Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Oklahoma City, Earl and Millie are retired and love to host canasta parties with family ad friends, OU football and watching more sunsets and"Gunsmoke."
