• Details: Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) will reward each donor’s giving spirit with a warm beanie cap. Anyone, who is healthy and 17 years or older, can donate blood.

Community Revival

• Who: EastSide Minister Alliance and the Chickasha City Wide Brotherhood

• What: Community Revival

• When: 7 p.m. nightly, Dec. 16-18

• Where: The Church of the Living God, 827 S. 1st St., Chickasha

• Details: Revival speaker will be Bishop B. A. Huggins, pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church, Oxnard, Calif. Music by City Wide Brotherhood Male Chorus and the Chickasha Community Gospel Singer.

Bean Supper

• When: Dec. 18, 6-9 p.m.

• Where:: Chickasha Senior Nutrition Center, Borden Park

• Cost: $5.00 per person

Grady County Opry

• When: Dec. 19, 7 p.m.

• Where: Grady Co. Fairgrounds

Holiday Concert

Medicare Counseling Offered

• When: Tuesday, Dec. 21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Where: Washita Valley Community Action Council, 205 W. Chickasha Ave, Chickasha.

• Details: Certified SHIP Counselors will be offering assistance in Part D selection and enrollment. The Social Security Administration will be offering LIS application assistance. Bible Baptist Church

• What: Heart of Christmas Meal

• When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day)

• Where: 226 S. 29th St. in Chickasha

• Details: Transportation is available by calling 224-1569. For deliveries, call 224-1569 by Wednesday, Dec. 23. A toy will be given to each child attending who is in the fifth grade or under.

H1N1shots

• When: Dec 30, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

• Where: Southern Plains Medical Center

• Details: SPMC will also offer walk-in seasonal flu vaccines beginning Dec. 14. Hours will be weekly 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Check-in is at area #6 (North end of clinic). The vaccine clinic will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1. SPMC will bill Medicare/Medicaid and all major insurance companies (must have your ID card with you).

Cancer Support Group

• When: Every Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.

• Where: Grady Memorial Hospital Administrative Conference Room, go in front entrance, go to the left of the elevators toward radiology.

Grief Recovery

• When: First and third Thursdays at 6 p. m.

• Where: Options Counseling Services, Inc., 420 W. Country Club Rd., Chickasha

• Details: Grief issues related to death, chronic illness, divorce, change in health, disaster victim, loss of employment, caregiver for chronically ill or other concerns will be discussed. To register call 405-222-3018, sponsored by Ross Health Care.



DivorceCare

• What: DivorceCare, a weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who understand divorce.

• What: The Autism Spectrum Disorder Group, parents, caregivers and teachers.

• What: An adult (16 years and older) based class for individuals whose first language is NOT English.

Kid's Crew Worship
