CHICKASHA —
One of my favorite places in Chickasha is the Crazy 8 Cafe. It's like a hidden gem in downtown. I even ate there twice last week. One day I dined in and the other I took it to go. Crazy 8 is located inside the historic Dixie building and if you have ever been inside you won't forget it. It's small, but adorable. It has a downstairs with dozens of tables and a comfy couch, and it also features a cozy upstairs if you're wanting a more private table setting.
Last week I had half of a turkey and swiss sandwich and a piece of strawberry cake. The second time I went to Crazy 8 and dined in I had a bowl of broccoli and cheddar soup. I love Panera Bread's version of broccoli and cheddar cheese soup (in a bread bowl is the best part….yumm) but it failed in comparison to Crazy 8's homemade goodness.
The only downside of Crazy 8 is you have to have cash. Other than that, Crazy 8 is one of the best restaurants in town.

BLOG: Election turnout shows 'shameful' apathy
Three-hundred forty-six, 418, and 314. These are the total number of votes cast in last night's school board elections in Chickasha, Rush Springs and Blanchard respectively.
The populations of these towns are 16,036, 1,278 and 7,670 respectively. That means that the percentage of people that voted in last night's election was 2 percent, 33 percent and 4 percent respectively.
With the exception of Rush Springs this is just downright shameful. -

BLOG: PED use does not hurt purity of basbeall
Today I am going to cross into Aaron’s world and write a little ditty about a sport.
It’s not about Thunder basketball, or Sooner football.
No, today’s blog is about the most exciting time of the year for me, athletically speaking. I am talking about the first week of Spring Training. -
