CHICKASHA —
One of the coolest things about the internet is its accessibility for talented writers that may not have another platform. One of my best friends, an english major at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma has been blogging for a few months on the free blogging website, WordPress.
Currently she runs two blogs. The first is called Chic By Any Other Name and is for the every day female. It's like a handbook for shopping on a budget. Sara keeps every outfit posted online under $25.
From vintage jewelry to over oversized sweaters, Sara gives readers a variety of inspirational outfits that they too can recreate. And without hurting their bank accounts.
Her newest blog is called Boots and Cats with the tagline, "Fashion and felines and my funny life." Sara uses her love for romance novels and her (sometimes crazy…just kidding..) cat obsession to humor readers and let them get to know her post by post. Her second blog shows a more personal approach to her writing and definitely makes you laugh out loud.

I had the pleasure of attending the Diamonds in the Rough luncheon this past Tuesday in the USAO Ballroom. As I looked around at all the mentors that filled the tables, it made me proud to be a part of something so special.

BLOG: Election turnout shows 'shameful' apathy
Three-hundred forty-six, 418, and 314. These are the total number of votes cast in last night's school board elections in Chickasha, Rush Springs and Blanchard respectively.
The populations of these towns are 16,036, 1,278 and 7,670 respectively. That means that the percentage of people that voted in last night's election was 2 percent, 33 percent and 4 percent respectively.
With the exception of Rush Springs this is just downright shameful. -

BLOG: PED use does not hurt purity of basbeall
Today I am going to cross into Aaron’s world and write a little ditty about a sport.
It’s not about Thunder basketball, or Sooner football.
No, today’s blog is about the most exciting time of the year for me, athletically speaking. I am talking about the first week of Spring Training. -
