CHICKASHA — Famed children's author and Chickasha native, Bill Wallace, has died.
His funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church. Arrangements are under direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Firefighters from around the county responded to a call in Tuttle at 5 a.m. and found Grady's Pub and Grille in downtown ablaze.

Body found in Griffin addition identified

Dillon Lindsay, a Grady County Jail convict who escaped yesterday from a clinic close to Grady Memorial Hospital, has been apprehended and returned to custody according to the Chickasha Police Department.

A fire blazed prior to noon today in a settle basin of the Chickasha Water Treatment Plant.
Chickasha Fire Department Chief Greg Gibson said the fire will not affect any of the city's water for drink or other use. -
