Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Ladd Jr. of Blanchard announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Darci Anne, to David Dallas Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Smith of Chickasha.
Miss Ladd, is a senior at the University of Oklahoma and will graduate in December of 2010, with an Advertising major and a minor in Sociology. Smith attends OSU-OKC for a degree in MFP studies. He's presently working as a firefighter/paramedic at Chickasha Fire Department.
The wedding is planned for May 15th at 7 p.m. at Winter Creek Golf and Country Club in Blanchard, with the Rev. Richard A. Bailey, uncle of the bride -elect officiating.
Following their honeymoon, the couple will make their home in the Chickasha area.
