The November 19th meeting of Chisholm Trail Republican Women will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Canadian Valley Tech Center, 1401 W. Michigan Ave. in Chickasha. Please enter the east door of the building and go to your right. This will be our last meeting for the year and election of officers and discussion of the election will be on our agenda.
We are very proud to announce that as of Oct. 12 Republicans outnumber Democrats in Grady County. This is a first for Grady County, as Democrats have always held the majority. In 1994, there were four Democrats to one Republican. As of Oct. 12, there are 13,799 Republicans, 13,645 Democrats, and 4,187 Independents. These figures are from Susan Turner, Grady County Election Board Secretary.
Barbara Pfenning is president of the group. If you choose to join, membership for women is $20 and for men, as an associate member, is $10. We have a good group of men that attend our meetings. If you have questions, please call Sandra Johnson at 405-204-6435.
