Black Swallowtail Butterfly

Its a little butterfly
flying high in the sky.
Its black, blue, white with
some goldish yellow highlights.
With its little feathery wing
it flys through the Oklahoma air,
while people stop and stare.
It help pollinate our flowers
by the week days and hours.
It helps the environment to
making it better for me and you.

It is a butterfly.
It flies in the Oklahoma sky. Everybody thinks it's graceful those are the people that are tasteful.
It pollinates the flowers and trees.
We dont even have to say please. We love this butterfly,
it helps our state.
Oh, we love this insect,
its beautiful and great!

So pretty, so cool.
Everyone likes them other than a fool.
All those pretty colors, especially black,
You're as sharp and pretty as a tack.
You're as beautiful as the moon. Even in your cocoon.
I wish you would stay and play.
It doesnt matter, tomorrow or today.
Please dont fly away. Hope to see you back in May.
As you pollinate our flowers each day.
I will be eating honey from my dinner plate.
You'll be here in Oklahoma, your state.
