Dr. James Monk presents a check in the amount of $1130 to Cindy Hood, President of the Oklahoma Chapter 6, Blue Star Mothers of America. Mrs. Hood has a son serving in Iraq and another son in ROTC while attending UCO. Monk Chiropractic offered consultations, examinations and x-rays in exchange for a $25 donation. Dr. Monk’s daughter, Christian, raised $280 by doing massages for donations at the Grady County Fair. Dr. Monk and his staff would like to thank all those who contributed to this worthy cause. Blue Star Mothers are mothers who currently have or have had children serving in the military. It is a non-profit Service Organization that promotes Patriotism and provides support to our Military Troops abroad and at home. It also supports our Military Veterans.
