LITTLE LEAGUE OFFERS FINAL SIGN UP DATE
Chickasha Little League baseball has announced a “last chance” sign up date for the upcoming season. The final registration will take place Saturday, March 13th from 1-3pm at the Mollett Hunter office, located at 5th and Minnesota.
“We’re still getting calls from parents asking if it’s too late to sign up,” said Bruce McGrew, one of the league’s organizers. “We want to give every child who wants to play an opportunity to participate, so we’re adding one final day.”
Chickasha Little League plays all of it’s games at the city’s sports complex, with no out of town travel. Registration fee is $45 and includes each player’s cap and shirt.
The league is divided into three divisions, T-ball for 5-6 year olds, Machine Pitch for 7-9 years, and the Majors division for players 10-12. A player must be at least five years of age by May 1st, and cannot turn 13 before that date.
