(Oklahoma City, OK) - Deaconess Hospital offers a free community program designed specifically for women called Healthy Woman. Healthy Woman was established four years ago as a program to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed health care decisions for themselves and their families.
The Healthy Woman program consists of free seminars that are held on the second Thursday of every month, from 6 to 7 p.m. Seminars are held at the Deaconess Medical Office Building North – Basement Conference Room, located at 5701 N. Portland Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73112. Seminars are led by physicians and provide health information on women’s health issues. A free meal is provided and door prizes are given at each monthly event.
