Vegetable Creatures ... in the making

These photos show Mrs. Guinn’s class making Vegetable Creatures. The students learned about the Food Pyramid, and the importance of eating healthy foods. Mrs. Guinn received an Oklahoma Pork Council Grant that allows her to incorporate cooking and hands-on projects into their science curriculum. The purpose is to provide activities to teach children the importance of nutrition and to learn where our food comes from.
