Greetings to the Seniors of the Dibble Community!
It is too late!! You missed it! Dibble Seniors got a bunch of good info at the A.A.R.P. Defensive Driving Class at the new McClain County Home Building on Monday afternoon. We are now ready for Nascar and any highway patrolman out there!! Plus lower insurance rates!
Monday morning was spent with Phyllis Embry at our 2nd line dance clinic. We are about to get better with both of our left feet!
Tuesday after lunch a bus load of Seniors descended upon the Regional Food Bank for Pay Back Day and none of us want to ever see a bell pepper or onion again!! We bagged millions of them!! Thanks to all volunteers!!
Our sick and injured are slowly recovering as Mary Evett bruised her new knee chasing a cat in the yard. Arthur says he is going to stake her out in the yard so she won’t get away until she gets healed up! Good Luck Arthur!!! Laverne Rodgers is in the Baptist Hospital recovering from surgery. Don Hedrick is recouping well after his surgery as well.
Remember our dance with Red Newsom & Old Country on Monday 5/14 at 7:30 pm and I do mean Old Country!! I don’t know how old Red is but he recently commented that he heard Elvis may have finally died and he himself was not feeling so good!!???!!
I have reconsidered my intentions as to whether or not to run for President of the United State as some friends in California, aka Tony O’Geen, have assured me that they like weirdos out there and maybe I should start my campaign on the West Coast and let it sweep toward the East. I will consult with my proposed V.P. (Larry the Cable Guy) and cabinet guys first. After all if the public calls, I must surely run! More on this later.
My cousin Becky’s boyfriend says she has been really out of sorts of late. She had him on his hands and knees looking under the furniture for her bottle of PMS medication and he finally found it by recognizing it as the one with all the bite marks on the bottle!! He said she ain’t right!!
Our esteemed VP says he has all ready quit his new job as window washer on the New Devon Energy Building in downtown OKC. I asked him when did he quit and he said “half way down”.. He ain’t right either!!
All for now...
