CHS PTO Fundraiser
The CHS PTO will be selling Valentine Coke/Candy-Grams Feb. 8-11. They will consist of a cute Valentine bag with a coke and special Valentine candy inside, tied with a bow and card for $5 each. Students may purchase these for each other during lunch in the front foyer or in the cafeteria. Parents may purchase these for their kids by sending the following to the front office: $5, Student’s Name/Grade, and who it is from. The Coke/Candy-Grams will be delivered to students on Fri. the 12th. This is a great way to send an affordable Valentine to that special CHS student or staff member, while supporting this new organization at CHS!!
Arts Council to meet Mon., Feb. 8
The regular meeting of the Chickasha Area Arts Council (CAAC) is Mon., Feb. 8, 2010 at 6:30 pm in the First National Bank Community Room, 3rd and Chickasha Ave. Please enter on the north side.
Major agenda items include: updates on Jaruba’s two-day drumming workshop at Oddfellows Music Hall; RIAF 2010 Town Hall Meeting; plans for the 2010 Rose Hill Cemetery Tour; and progress on the Public Art Sculpture.
A Rock Island Arts Festival 2010 planning meeting will be held immediately following the CAAC regular meeting at 8 pm in the Community Room of the First National Bank.
