Grady County TEA Party
The Grady County TEA Party is pleased to announce that Trevor Loudon will be the featured speaker on Saturday, July 21, 7 pm, at Trinity Church. The church is located at 428 East Almar, Chickasha. Mr. Loudon is known as New Zealand's Glenn Beck. He has been involved in politics for many years. From 2006-2008 he was vice president of the ACT New Zealand Party. He believes in freedom with responsibility, not freedom from responsibility. He broke the story of Van Jones, a Communist, when Obama appointed him Green Jobs czar at the beginning of his administration. His book "Barack Obama and the Enemies with In" will be for sale after his presentation.

The Grady County Democratic Party Holds Monthly meetings every Second Thursday of every month at 7:PM at the Candian Valley Career Tech, seminar Room C. Every Citizen is encouraged to attend and be apart of our County Party. We have had Donna Bebo Canidate for CD 4 at a recent Meeting as well as Stewart Meyer Canidate for HD 56. We are in full campaign mode at this time and all tthose wishing to help our local Canidates are encouraged to attend so we can find a place for your efforts.

Rental Association meeting
A Rental Association meeting will be held on July 23, 7 p.m. at the Cornerstone Church Fellowship Hall. All property owners welcome.
NRA Basic Pistol course
An NRA Basic Pistol course will be held Aug 11 beginning at 8AM at the Tri City Gun Club in Goldsby. An NRA Certified Instructor will teach the basics of safe gun handling and shooting. Participants will learn safety, firearm parts and operation. Other topics include firearm care and cleaning, storage options and selection. This eight hour course provides hands on learning. Stitching Memories
Quilt Guild of Duncan
The Stitching Memories Quilt Guild of Duncan, OK, will meet on Monday, July 16, 2012, at 5:30 PM for snacks and dessert with a short business meeting starting at 6:00 PM at the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ, FEA Building, at 1404 West Main. The program will be presented by guild member Carol Capshaw. Ms. Capshaw will demonstrate adding borders with mitered corners to quilts. Quilt show entry forms are to be turned in to Judy Irey at this meeting in preparation for the Quilting on the Trail quilt show scheduled for September 14-15, 2012, at the Stephens County Fairgrounds.

Athletic Physicals
Five Oaks Medical Group and Grady Memorial Hospital have set the schedule for sports physicals for area student athletes. This year, athletic physicals are scheduled for August 4 and August 18, 2012. The exams will begin at 8 am on these Saturday mornings at the Five Oaks Medial Group, 2100 Iowa Ave, Chickasha. The doctors and staff volunteer their time to ensure that the students involved in any of the athletic programs receive appropriate health screening. These physicals are provided free of charge only on these scheduled day. Students will be charged $25.00 by appointment at any other time during August. Following the month of August, regular appointment charges will apply.
The staff will complete a medical and musculoskeletal evaluation of each athlete. Those cleared will be eligible to participate in the sports programs.
Students are required to bring their completed paperwork with signed consent by their parent or guardian when they report for their physical. Students who do not have consent forms will not be able to be screened.
