Kevin D. Horn and Mary Ann Hanna Horn both earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) Bradenton, Florida. Commencement ceremonies were held on Sunday, June 7, at the Manatee Convention Center in Bradenton. Dr. Kevin Horn of Chickasha, OK is son of Kent and Brenda Horn, grandson of Sue Horn and the late Clayton Horn and the late Barbara Spriestersbach. Dr. Mary Ann Hanna Horn of Murrells Inlet, SC (wife of Kevin) is daughter of Julian and Ann Hanna.
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) provide all of the benefits of modern medicine, including prescription drugs, surgery, and the use of technology to diagnose disease and evaluate injury. D.O. s offer the added benefit of hands-on diagnosis and treatment through a system of therapy known as Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (O.M.M.).
Osteopathic medicine emphasizes a whole-person approach to health care. The D.O. helps each individual achieve wellness by focusing on health education, injury prevention and disease prevention.
The Doctors Horn are currently both residents at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
