Girl Scout summer camps underway

— Girl Scouts across Western Oklahoma are getting ready for summer camp! Although registration for summer camp has only been open for a week, over 200 girls have already registered for camp sessions.

Girl Scouts-Western Oklahoma will be offering day camp for girls in grades K-6th and resident camp for those girls that are ready to stay the night at camp, beginning in 3rd grade. It is not mandatory for girls to already be a Girl Scout to attend camp, but after they register for camp they will be a registered Girl Scout. Cost for resident camp varies with sessions ranging from $205 to $225. Cost for Day Camp is $120.

For more information about summer camp or becoming part of the GS-West family contact the council at 405-528-3535or visit www.gswestok.org.
