— Senior Centers

are Important

Dear Editor:

Senior Citizens Nutrition Centers have been an intricate part of Grady County Communities for 30+ years.  Each center has functioned independently. They have furnished an outlet for many individuals over 60 that would have otherwise been sorely neglected.  "Nutrition" has been a key word for  these senior sites because typically we think of food as the only method of survival, however these centers are much more than just a place to eat.  They are the center of activity for many who have devoted their lives to making the community a better place in which to live.  They need to continue their role in all our Grady County Communities. The sales tax proposal will help keep these vital organizations and maintain their role in the communities in which you live and will eventually become a part of when you become a senior citizen.

Thank You

 Merlene Rust

President Rush Springs Senior Citizen Center

PTO Says

CHS PTO would like to thank the following businesses for helping us to host the first annual teacher appreciation luncheon at CHS:

CMS Willowbrook, MoJo's Carwash, Century 21, Mollett Hunter Insurance, Chickasha Bank, Angel, Johnston, Blasingame,  Dunns Food Center, and Hallmark's For You.

All teachers and staff at the high school were provided a wonderful catered lunch, and a favor thanks to these community leaders.
