Meets July 15
Grady County Interagency and Community Coalition will meet from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 15 at the Canadian Valley Technology Center
The IACC is working on the new resource guide, "Caring". It is sponsoring the Free Youth Day, "Health Rocks" on July 16 at Kid's Place Park. All Grady County residents, agencies and businesses are invited to attend the meeting.

Adult Learning Center, who provdes GED, Basic Skills Review and Reading Proficiency Testing, will be open this summer on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m.; 12:30-3:30 p.m.; and 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at 628 W. Kansas Ave., Chickasha. The Oklahoma high school diploma exam dates are

South Courthouse
Doors Closed
The Grady County Courthouse front doors on the south side of the building will be closed for about two weeks beginning Wednesday, July 1 so that repairs may be made to the front steps.
Visitors to the courthouse are advised to use the rear entrance on the north side of the building.

Line Dance
Lessons Offered
Free line dance lessons are being offered at Best Western Inn in Chickasha, 2101 S. 4th St., across the street from McDonalds.
Classes meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the first and third Monday of every month in the banquet room. Beginners and all ages are welcome. Door prizes and refreshments are served. Bring the entire family and enjoy the fun, it’s great exercise.

Crocodile Dock
Bible Sschool Set
Epworth United Methodist Church, First Christian Church, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will be hosting “Crocodile Dock VBS,” July 19-22, 2009, from 6 - 8:30 pm, at the Epworth UMC located at 4th St. and Iowa Ave. The VBS is open to children in grades K-5th grade. JCC Academy
now enrolling
The JCC Academy, a new Christian school option for students K-12, is now accepting enrollment applications for a limited number of students.
If you missed our early enrollment deadline to submit your transfer application, you may still be able to join us this fall.
The JCC Academy is the first private school program in our area to offer online curriculum as well as our standard curriculum, beginning the 2009-2010 school year.

Quartet Concert
Planned for Ampitheater
The West Coast Quartet will have a concert at 7 p.m. July 24 at Shannon Springs Ampitheater. Admission is free.
There will be refreshments for purchase before the concert begins. The concert, part of the Chickasha Campaign for Christ, is sponsored by Calvary Baptist Church.
DivorceCare Meets
at Epworth Church
DivorceCare, a weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who undestand divorce, meets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Sunday at Epworth United Methodist Church in the New Life Center, north door.
DivorceCare is nondenominational and features Biblical teaching for recovering from divorce or separation. A different topic is highlighed each week. Child care is available.

Ziegenfuss Reunion
Set for July 11
The 24th Annual Ziegenfuss Family Reunion will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11 at the Oaklawn Community Center in Marlow, three miles west on Caddo and one mile south. There will be signs posted.
A potluck lunch will be served at noon. Everyone is encouraged to bring old pictures. There will be door prizes, games, and lots of fun. There will also be an auction.

The McMasters/Massey Family Reunion will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11 at the Borden Community Center, 200 North 18th Street in Chickasha.

‘59 Class Reunion
Planned for Sept. 25
The CHS Class of 1959 will celebrate its 50th reunion at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Cottonwood Creek’s 50s Diner, formerly the Country Club, and also on Sept. 26 for dinner in the USAO ballroom.
Time and costs will be announced at a later date.

Ogle Family
Reunites July 12
The 79th Ogle Family Reunion will start at 9 a.m. July 12 at the Grady County Fairgrounds Building.
At 9 a.m. on that Sunday, coffee and rolls will be served for those who would like to visit. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
Participants should bring their favorite foods. Drinks will be provided.
The John and Ora Barrett family will host the event. Guests are welcome.
Rogers Reunion
Set for July 11
The J. E. and Doshie Rogers Family and Friends 64th reunion will be held in the middle building of the Grady County Fairgrounds beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11. There will be door prizes and the Boggy River Bluegrass Band will perform. Bring your favorite dish. Iced tea and coffee will be provided.
