Gospel church hosts singing
The New Home Full Gospel Church will host its regular monthly singing at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The church is three-quarter miles west of the Hwy. 39-76 junction.
Crocodile Dock VBS set
Epworth United Methodist Church, First Christian Church, and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will host “Crocodile Dock VBS” from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. July 19-22 at the Epworth UMC, 4th Street. and Iowa Ave.
The event is open to children in grades K-5th grade. Kick-Off registrstion, food and fun is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 1

Concert planned for July 24
The West Coast Quartet will have a concert at 7 p.m. July 24 at Shannon Springs Ampitheater. Admission is free.
There will be refreshments for purchase before the concert begins.
The concert, part of the Chickasha Campaign for Christ, is sponsored by Calvary Baptist Church.

Grady County Interagency and Community Coalition will meet from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 15 at the Canadian Valley Technology Center.
The coalition will sponsor the Free Youth Day, "Health Rocks" on July 16 at Kid's Place Park. All Grady County residents, agencies and businesses are invited to attend the meeting.

Center sets summer schedule
Adult Learning Center, which provdes GED, basic skills review and reading proficiency testing, will be open this summer on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m.; 12:30-3:30 p.m.; and 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at 628 W. Kansas Ave., Chickasha.

Boggess Family
The family of the late Alva and Edith Boggess recently held the Boggess family reunion in the home of Debbie & Russell Cocheran, Amber, OK. There were 65 people in attendance.

Ziegenfuss Family
The 24th Annual Ziegenfuss Family Reunion will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11 at the Oaklawn Community Center in Marlow, three miles west on Caddo and one mile south. There will be signs posted.
A potluck lunch will be served at noon. Everyone is encouraged to bring old pictures.
There will be door prizes, games, and lots of fun. There will also be an auction.

CHS ‘59 Class
The CHS Class of 1959 will celebrate its 50th reunion at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Cottonwood Creek’s 50s Diner, formerly the Country Club, and also on Sept. 26 for dinner in the USAO ballroom.

Ogle Family
The 79th Ogle Family Reunion will start at 9 a.m. July 12 at the Grady County Fairgrounds Building.
At 9 a.m. on that Sunday, coffee and rolls will be served for those who would like to visit. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
Participants should bring their favorite foods. Drinks will be provided.
The John and Ora Barrett family will host the event. Guests are welcome.

The J. E. and Doshie Rogers Family and Friends 64th reunion will be held in the middle building of the Grady County Fairgrounds beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11.
There will be door prizes and the Boggy River Bluegrass Band will perform.
