A Ninnekah family lost everything, including their car, in a house fire at 10:45 p.m. on April 7.
An electrical switch reportedly shorted out and caught a mattress on fire. All eight people in the home escaped; however, five dogs died in the fire.
The family is in need of clothing and other donations.
Clothing sizes needed include womens’ size 9 and 10 pants and large/x-large shirts; 8.5 womens’ shoes; men’s 33/32 jeans and large shirts; size 8.5 mens’ shoe's; girls’ junior size 1-3 pants and small/medium shirts; womens’ 8.5 shoes; girls’ junior size 0-1 pants and small/medium shirts; 7.5 womens’ shoe; girl childrens’ size 10-12 shirts and pants; size 5-6 shoes; girls’ childrens’ size 7-8 pants and shirts; shoe size 1-2; boys’ size 7-8 shirts and pants,;12-1 shoes; boys’ size 5-6 shirts and pants, size 10 shoes. Beds and bedding are also needed.
Please drop off donations at Ninnekah Public schools at 904 E Dell or contact Lighthouse Ministries in Chickasha, Terry and Shelley Jones, pastors, at 405-414-8634, to make arrangements for donations.
