The Tuttle High School varsity football banquet has been set for Sunday, Jan. 29. The banquet will be held in the middle school cafeteria at 2 p.m.



Friends of the Tuttle Public Library to meet

The Friends of Tuttle Public Library will meet Tuesday, Jan. 31.  The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Tuttle Community Building located at 102 N. Suzan Rd.  Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend - you do not need to be a member.



THS Class of 1992 plans reunion

The Tuttle High School Class of 1992 is planning their 20th reunion and are seeking contact information of classmates. The reunion will be held June 15-16. Anyone wanting to be informed of reunion details can contact Shelley (Burton) Overholt at Shelleyoverholt@att.net.

Girls retreat planned at Heritage Family

Treasured Sacred Blessed Girls Retreat will be held at Heritage Family Baptist Church, Jan. 27-28, for girls in grades 7-12. Girls will learn about God's love for them and just how much they are treasured, sacred and blessed by God. They will also learn how to live a healthy lifestyle, hair care, makeup and fashion, and a photographer will be on hand ot take fun pictures of the girls and their friends. The cost is $30 which includes three meals (dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday), live entertainment, and a Treasured Sacred Blessed t-shirt. On Friday, the retreat will be held from 6-9:30 p.m. and on Saturday it will be from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information, visit the Treasured Sacred Blessed event page on Facebook.



Grady County Democrat Women

The Grady County Democrat Women have changed their meeting next week. We will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 11:30 a.m. int the Crazy 8 Cafe in downtown Chickasha.

Ridgecrest to hold fundraiser

Ridgecrest Baptist Church is having a large indoor garage sale on Saturday, Feb. 11 to benefit three mission trips this year. They will be taking part in a local mission, plus missions to Puerto Rico and Haiti. A  pancake and biscuit and gravy breakfast will also be served, along with the garage sale. The sale and breakfast will start at 8 a.m. Breakfast will be served until 11 a.m. and the garage sale will continue until 1 p.m. Ridgecrest is located at the corner of Sara and Sooner Road, four miles south of Highway 37.



FOTPL Accepting Book Donations

The Friends of the Tuttle Public Library is accepting book donations. If you have gently used books, DVDs, or CDs (no cassettes or VHS tapes, please) that you no longer need, please contact FOTPL and we will make arrangements to collect them. We are in particular need of children's books. Spring carnival set
