‘Something

Worthwhile’

• Where: Epworth United Methodist Church

• When:  Tues., Sept. 7, meal at 6 p.m.

• Speaker: Kicking off this year’s event  as inspirational speaker is Congresswoman Mary Fallin.  She represents the Fifth District of Oklahoma, which includes most of Oklahoma County and all of Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties. Ms. Fallin is the first woman to represent Oklahoma in Congress since 1920.  She will be sharing a meaningful and special faith message with the ladies.  

ııThis outreach ministry, sponsored by the ladies of Epworth Church, is held eight times yearly. Each event features a sit-down dinner at 6 p.m., where ladies are treated to a delicious home-cooked meal, served on a beautifully decorated table, and have no worries about cleaning-up after the meal.  Following the meal, which is only $5.00, attendees enjoy an energetic and motivating speaker who shares how her faith has helped her through challenges, successes and day-to-day living.

• Reservations: For each ‘Something Worthwhile’ event, advance reservations are required and free childcare is available upon request. All reservations are made by calling Bobi at 320-0240. Reservations for the Sept. 7 event may be made beginning Aug. 1, and they will be taken until all seats are filled. Lessons
