TUTTLE — A Tuttle teenager is in jail on charges of second degree rape. Russell D. Corley, Jr. was booked into the Grady County Jail Friday morning, after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
According to the affidavit, Corley is alleged to have had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl, who is now pregnant with his child. The girl’s father reportedly contacted law enforcement, stating he believed the girl’s mother was allowing his daughter to live with Corley. The mother reportedly told investigators her daughter snuck out to see the suspect.
Corley told officers that he and the girl were to be married at the county courthouse and were waiting for a copy of her birth certificate before they went. An appointment was set for the girl and her mother to come in so the victim could make a statement. According to the affidavit, the pair never showed and the phone had recently been disconnected. Bond has been set for Corley at $75,000.
