CHICKASHA — A Ninnekah youth is in jail today for allegedly sexually molesting a four-year-old girl. Daniel Keith Stevenson, 16, has been charged with rape one, forcible oral sodomy, child molestation and indecent exposure.
The child’s father said while working on his lawn mower, he went into the house to check on his three children. It was then that he found Stevenson, a family friend, with his pants down, molesting the child. Two other children, a one-year-old boy and a three-year-old boy were also in the room.
Stevenson was accompanied to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office by his older brother David Stevenson. After being read his Miranda Rights, Stevenson at first refused to speak with Sheriff’s deputies, but then agreed to an interview.
Stevenson then reportedly gave deputies a detailed account of what happened on the afternoon of April 22, allegedly stating that he has been molesting the girl since Christmas 2006.
After the interview, Stevenson was placed under arrest.
Stevenson has reportedly written a letter saying he is sorry.
