CHICKASHA — Go ahead and dust off your boots, but don’t put your hat on just yet.
Weather has postponed the annual Chickasha Rodeo.
Originally set for this weekend, Media Coordinator John Gentry said the rodeo has been reset for the following weekend, July 6 and 7.
“We got an earlier date than we expected,” Gentry said. When the rodeo was first put on hold, coordinators believed it could the end of August before the event could be rescheduled.
They were pleasantly surprised with a much closer date.
This will be the 68th year for the event.
