CHICKASHA - Women's health and family counseling take center stage May 14 when the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma hosts a public Health Fair. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Grady County residents are encouraged to attend the free fair, which features booths from several local companies and organizations. The fair will be held in Station 82, the basement of the USAO Student Center.
"We are expecting booths from many community businesses," said Dr. Joy Carr, director of health services at USAO. "It is a chance for people to experience what USAO and Chickasha businesses have to offer."
Carr said the fair is scheduled as part of National Women's Health Week, which runs May 11-17.
The health fair is made possible by a grant from the Medical Reserve Corp.
