Washita Valley Community Action was presented an award from the Internal Revenue Service in recognition of another successful year in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Washita Valley Community Action completed 384 tax returns and returned $219,456.00 in Earned Income Tax Credit to families in Caddo and Grady Counties for the 2007 tax filing year. WVCAC continues to assist citizens of Caddo and Grady counties in completing the 1040A forms to receive their Stimulus Payments. To date, volunteers have completed 85 Stimulus Payment returns.
