The number of candidates filing to run for Grady County Sheriff has grown to seven with the filings of Democrat Howard Arterberry and Republican ThomKlenieski.
They join a crowded field seeking the four-year term that includes incumbent Kieran McMullen and Art Kell on the Republican side and Ron Reynolds, Guy Huggins and Austin Green on the Democratic ballot.
Also filing for office this week: County Clerk, Sharon Shoemake, a Democrat; County Court Clerk, Lois Foster, Democrat; County Commissioner No. 2, Mike Lennier, Democrat; and Bridge Creek Fire Protection, Position No. 2, Sharon Garrett and Ron Mann.
