The Grady County Commissioners held a short meeting on Tuesday after the long Labor Day weekend.
The board asked for bids on 15 sets of personal protective equipment for the Alex Fire Department and signed REAP agreements and needs summaries, which were presented by Emergency Management Director Dale Thompson, for REAP grants for Grady County.
Next, commissioners approved participation in the state county road machinery and equipment revolving fund, in which each district may put in for a piece of equipment, according to Board Chairman Windle Hardy.
Also approved were a modification to an encumbered contract for WIC and a transfer of general and highway funds.
