Chickasha Middle School will be hosting a very special evening on Tuesday, April 7, from 6 -8 pm.
The event is being called, P.I.N. Dance. P.I.N. stands for Parent Information Night.
In order for this event to be a success and beneficial for you and your students, CMS needs your participation.
The format will be as follows:
Students must bring at least one parent/guardian with them, entering through the front doors of the main building. Parents will register for a series of educational lectures informing them of various ways their children will be impacted by the Criterion Referenced Testing, and how they can assist in better preparing them for the tests.
In addition, there will also be a lecture with information on the Gear-Up program, one for parents of special needs children, and one for parents of 8th graders.
After the parent/guardian registers, the student will receive a hand stamp and then go to Myers for the dance. YOU are their admission fee!
The lectures will last approximately 15-20 minutes, and the parents/guardians may attend up to two. After the lectures, you are invited to go to Myers Gymnasium and watch the dance.
