A mock car crash was demonstrated on Friday at Ninnekah High School to help prevent drinking and driving over the prom weekend. The Ninnekah Police Department and Fire Department participated, along with Rush Springs EMS and Canadian Valley Technology Center. The scenario was a two-car accident in which one student was arrested and two were put on stretchers and loaded into ambulances. Afterwards a mock funeral was held in the Ninnekah Gymnasium and more information was given about the dangers of drinking and driving.
