for Indian Church
The Fellowship of American Indian Church, 1217 W. Frisco, will be having Vacation Bible School June 8-12 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. There will be games, cheerleading, arts and crafts, Bible study and other activities. Snacks will be provided. Revival set to start June 7
The Pentecostal Church of God, 1028 N. 11th St. in Chickasha, will host a revival from June 7 to June 12. GOP Round-Up
set for June 18
You are invited to an evening of fun, food, and fellowship with fellow Republicans at the Grady County Republican Round Up to be held Thuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m. at the Grady County Fairgrounds. The keynote speaker will be Senate President Pro Tempore Glen Coffee. County and state elected officials will be introduced during the evening. Art at the Rock fundraiser set

Twenty three OHCE Rural Neighbors members are hosting a fantastic sale of combined items including antiques, baked goods, clothing, books and miscellaneous items too numerous to mention. Arts Council to host annual meeting
The annual membership dinner meeting of the Chickasha Area Arts Council is Monday, June 8 at 6 p.m. at 224 S. 14th Street, Chickasha. Oklahoma Salers Field Day set
The Oklahoma Salers Association is holding their first judging field day on June 6 at Ninnekah. Everyone is welcome to attend. The field day is being hosted by Monte Rowell at 731 County Road 1450 Ninnekah. The Salers association is promoting their breed and will have six classes to be judged by 4-H, FFA, and Adults. Awards will be presented after lunch which is being provided by the Association. Cash prizes will be paid the 4-H and FFA team; $100 for first, $75 for second, $50 for third, $25 for fourth and fifth. Plaques will also be presented. DivorceCare to meet at Epworth
Divorced? Separated? You don’t have to go through it alone. DivorceCare is a weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. It is nondenominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce or separation. Each week is a different topic. Child care is available. The 14th annual commencement ceremony sponsored by the Chickasha Adult Learning Center and the Altrusa Club for recipients of GED diplomas will be Thursday, June 4 at 7 p.m. at the Chickasha High School Activity Center. Each candidate that successfully completed the GED examination during the past year is invited to participate. You are also encouraged to bring all of your family and friend to help you celebrate this special occasion. Altrusa Club will host a reception following the ceremony. Juneteenth or June 19, celebrated the third week in June, is the oldest known celebration since President Lincoln issued a proclamation ending slavery in 1862. This year, Juneteenth will host its Celebration on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13. The celebration kicks off Friday evening with a jazz cool-down session. At $2 per plate, you can taste and help select winners of the "Bake-Off" and "Cook-Off" delightful delicacies. Saturday morning, the festivities begin with a parade, opening ceremony, spiritual activities, free foods and lots of family fun.
