Grady County Commissioners considered two employee drug testing programs when they met Monday in regular session.
Although the county sends most employees to Motionworks in Chickasha for employment and random drug testing, Sheriff Art Kell sends his potential hires to Parnters in Health MultiCare Clinic in Tuttle. Partners retrieves test results immediately, while Motionworks requires a waiting period.
County Clerk Sharon Shoemake said commissioners may consider using Partners in Health if it proves to be a more economical choice.
Other items on the agenda included bids on buying four new trucks and selling four used trucks for District 2. The bid chosen was Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc.
Commissioners also tabled three bids for janitorial services in the district attorney’s office. The bids ranged frmo $425 to $825.
The commissioners also approved the detention services agreement with Sequoyah Enterprises, Inc. and Grady County.
