Gary McNatt recently received the Silver Beaver Award, which is a council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America.
It is used to recognize adult leaders for outstanding service to youth on the local level. McNatt has been a volunteer with the Boys Scouts for several years, serving as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 4306 for nine years, Chisholm Trail District Commissioner for 6 years and Venturing Crew 4354 Adviser for four years.
He has also served as Scout Camp Commissioner at Slippery Falls several times.
He is a Woodbadge SR-531 fox, a member of the Order of Arrow and a Brotherhood member.
McNatt is a former United States Marine and an active member of American Legion Post 54. As a long term Chickasha resident, he has served as president of the Chickasha Junior Chamber of Commerce, as well as District Director and Membership Vice President for the Oklahoma Junior Chamber of Commerce and President of the Jaycee Foundation of Oklahoma.
He is a JC Governor, a JCI Senator and a member of the Chickasha Rotary Club.
McNatt has been employed by family owned Royal Filter Mfg. Co. since 1986 and is president of the company. He and his wife Delania have been married since 1985 and have three children. Their daughter Callie, is an OU graduate. Their son Aaron, an Eagle Scout, is a senior at Southern Nazarene University. Their son Brian, also an Eagle Scout, is a junior at Southern Nazarene University.
