A 18-year-old Chickasha woman died in a single-car accident Monday on County Road 2970.
Natasha Jaques was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident from head and internal injuries, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
She was a May graduate of Chickasha High School.
Patrol reports stated Jacques was heading northbound on CR 2970 in her 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier. She attempted to take a turn too fast and lost control.
Troopers said she over corrected, causing her vehicle to slide back across the road.
She went off the road sideways and rolled more than three times into a ravine.
Jacques was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, before being pinned underneath it, according to the report.
Highway Patrol investigators said the cause of the crash was unsafe speed.
Jacques was taken to Ferguson Funeral Home in Chickasha. Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church.
