Wallace joins Five Oaks Medical Group

— Kacey Wallace, D.O., a board certified specialist in family medicine, has joined the staff of Five Oaks Medical Group and will begin seeing patients on Sept. 6, 2011.  Dr. Wallace, daughter of Lynn and the late Keith Heck of Chickasha, is married to Chickasha native Justin Wallace, son of Bill and Carol Wallace. Justin who holds of Doctor of Veterinary degree will be practicing veterinary medicine in Verden with Bruss Horn, DVM.

“We are delighted that this young couple has returned home to Chickasha,” said Mike Nunamaker, CEO of Grady Memorial Hospital and Five Oaks Medical Group.  “Dr. Wallace will have an immediate impact at Five Oaks in offering outpatient care in the areas of chronic care, pediatrics, women’s health, and all aspects of preventative medicine.  She will add a much needed resource in additional family medicine health care for our patients.”

Dr. Wallace holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma.  She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.

For the past four years Dr. Wallace has been practicing family medicine in Shawnee, OK.  She also has experience as an emergency room physician at Coal County General Hospital and at Grady Memorial Hospital.  She holds certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation.
