In honor of the 2011 theme “Create Oneness, Experience Wholeness,” a Oneness Blessing will kick-off the 6th Annual Chickasha Holistic Health Fair, March 12-13, at the Chickasha Community Building on the Grady County Fairgrounds.
The free event features holistic health practitioners, products, services, counseling, educational information, alternative/complementary therapies, mind, body, spirit modalities, eight lectures and three workshops.
Fair hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Lectures are on the hour starting at 1 p.m. each day. A special 7 p.m. Saturday presentation will be lead by Certified Master Hypnotist Rick Minter from Cameron University. The hypnosis instructor is certified in Complementary Health Care Hypnosis and will discuss “Mind Over Matter.”
Minter travels throughout the United States speaking on the benefits of hypnosis for self-motivation, stress management, sports enhancement, drug abuse, study habits and other life-changing topics. The Duncan resident also presents highly entertaining stage hypnosis programs for schools, colleges, universities, churches, organizations and corporations.
Eckankar of Oklahoma will conduct a 90-minute seminar at 2 p.m. Sunday entitled “Have You Had A Spiritual Experience?”
Ruth Touhey, of EarthWind Holistic Center, and Johnnie Moyer, of Star Touch Massage, will facilitate the other workshop and help participants “Make Your Own Rainstick” at 6 p.m. Saturday. Materials will be provided.
Starting off the lecture schedule at 1 p.m. Saturday is “Life is a Boomerang!” by Dr. Jan Wright, a Gems of Excellence instructor. Diane Wood, numerologist and guidance coach will speak on “2011: The Year of Cornucopia” at 2 p.m.
The 3 p.m. Saturday talk “U R Not Sick, U R Thirsty” will be headed by Dr. Michael and Teresa Loveless of Oklahoma Healing Arts Institute. 4 p.m. - “Working From All That Is,” Ken Hays, The Natural Choice. 5 p.m. “Access Inner Levels of Consciousness,” Ryan Jones, Oklahoma City School of Metaphysics.
Sunday’s lectures include 1 p.m. - “We Are All One Relation,” Barbara Clayton, Eternal Reflections. 4 p.m. - “Creating Sacred Space,” Lisa Ghea Rose, Vibration of Light Healing. 5 p.m. - “I Can See Clearly Now,” Rev. B.J. Knight, an Essene Kabbalist.

1 p.m. –Life is a Boomerang! Dr. Jan Wright, Gems of Excellence
Jan Wright PhD offers a unique blend of alternative modalities. Her 36 years of experience in energy medicine utilizes multiple techniques to coach a client back to optimum health. She says it isn't always about what we eat, it is also about what we believe, say and think.
2 p.m. – 2011: The Year of Cornucopia, Diane Wood, Guidance Coach, Numerologist. Guidance coach and numerologist Diane Wood will share intuitive insights on the interesting year of opportunities 2011 presents. An ordained minister and energy healer, Diane’s passion is to inspire and educate clients, helping them identify what energies and potentials support lifelong goals, hopes and dreams. She says it’s time to apply ancient knowledge and learn what numbers can teach about life lessons and experiential events.
3 p.m. – U R Not Sick, U R Thirsty, Dr. Michael & Teresa Loveless, Oklahoma Healing Arts Institute. Dr. Michael Loveless has been a chiropractor for 33 years. He practiced for nine years in California before moving to Italy in 1987. For the next 13 years, the fun-loving doctor entertained clients at various offices throughout the country. He and his wife Teresa moved to Oklahoma City last year to educate and promote healthier living.
4 p.m. –Working From All That Is, Ken Hays, The Natural Choice
Owner of The Natural Choice in Norman, Ken Hays is a master herbalist, Quantum Touch instructor, Eckankar clergy and student of natural living. His life-long journey into the truth of nature includes studies in herbalism in Western, TCM and Ayurvedic traditions. The Qigong practitioner has also trained in Touch for Health and many other bodywork therapies.
5 p.m. – Access Inner Levels of Consciousness, Ryan Jones, School of Metaphysic. A lifelong resident of Oklahoma, Ryan Jones is a former director of the Oklahoma City School of Metaphysics. The perpetual student and teacher of Applied Metaphysics, also holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Through intuitive reports and healing classes, Ryan is committed to teaching universal mind principles to elevate the consciousness of the community.
6 p.m. – Make Your Own Rain Stick, Ruth Touhey, EarthWind Holistic Center, Johnnie Moyer, Star Touch Massage. Bring your child, grandchild or inner child and create an inspiring gift from nature. Materials provided. Both facilitators were once kids, have grandchildren and always bring their inner children along for fun.

1 p.m. – We Are All One Relation, Rev. Barbara Clayton, Eternal Reflections. A holistic practitioner for the last 21 years, Barbara Clayton, MA, MLT (ASCP), CRMT, is published in five fields of study. Tribally trained in Shamanic Medicine, she also does spiritual counseling, crisis intervention, immune system repair and polarization therapy. Her private practice focuses on the restoration of core energy on the cellular and sub-cellular level.
2 p.m. – Have You Had a Spiritual Experience? 90-minute seminar presented by Eckankar of Oklahoma
4 p.m. – Creating Sacred Space, Lisa Ghea Rose, Vibration of Light. A bio-spiritual healing facilitator and celestial sound therapist, Lisa Ghea Rose believes divine love, personal sovereignty and awareness of the inter-connection of oneness enhance healing and create positive lifestyle changes. The Tulsa resident uses hands-on healing techniques, vocal toning, ancient languages and songs to complete heart-centered, multi-dimensional healing. She is certified in sound therapy, crystal healing, An-ra Healing, reiki and magnified healing.
5 p.m. – I Can See Clearly Now, Rev. B.J. Knight, Essene Kabbalist. An Essene Kabbalist and metaphysician for more than 22 years, Rev. B.J. Knight divines her essence through creative paintings. Animals, angels and other graceful forms miraculously appear under a vibrant paintbrush bringing harmony and balance to energetic canvases. The intuitive artist is a frequent participant at Sundance and also leads sweats and vision quests.
