Chickasha Middle School science teacher Peggy Leonard demonstrates her display on renewable forms of energy to Chickasha Public School Foundation board member Pam Branch during the foundation's annual event and showcase Thursday night at USAO. Leonard was one of many teachers showing how grant money from the foundation is being used in the classroom. Grant recipients, site teachers of the year and CPS 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 teachers of the year were among those recognized at the event. At right, Foundation President Terry Winn, right, displays the clock presented to him by the 2010 Foundation president, Chris Ferguson, in recognition of Winn's many year's of service on the Foundation board.
