CHICKASHA — Baby Food, Baby & Maternity Clothes Giveaways

• When: Wednesdays, 9 a.m. - 12 noon

Farmer’s Market

• When: Weekly Tues. & Sat., 7 a.m. - noon (or sold out)

• Where: Southwest corner at 7th & Chickasha

• Details: Fresh, local produce, crafts and canned goods are available for purchase.



TOPS Weight Loss Support

• What: TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a weekly support group that promotes a healthy lifestyle and supports sensible weight loss. Open to men and women of all ages.

• When: Every Monday, 5:30 p.m.

• Where: First Christian Church basement, 202 S. 6th, Chickasha

Cancer Support Group

• When: Every Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.

• Where: Grady Memorial Hospital Administrative Conference Room, go in front entrance, go to the left of the elevators toward radiology.

Grief Recovery

• When: First and third Thursdays at 6 p. m.

• Where: Options Counseling Services, Inc., 420 W. Country Club Rd., Chickasha

• Details: Grief issues related to death, chronic illness, divorce, change in health, disaster victim, loss of employment, caregiver for chronically ill or other concerns will be discussed. To register call 405-222-3018, sponsored by Ross Health Care.



DivorceCare

• What: DivorceCare, a weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who understand divorce.

• When: 6-8 p.m. every Sunday

• Where: Epworth United Methodist Church in the New Life Center, north door.



Diabetes Support Group

• Where: 1st Floor Conference Room of the Hospital.  

• Details:  If you or someone you know is struggling with diabetes or have questions about diabetes, call the Diabetes Center, 405-779-2130, for more information.



Ducks Unlimited

• When: Wednesday, 7p.m.

• Where: Temazcal Restaurant, 117 N 2, Chickasha

• Details: Local volunteers are bringing Ducks Unlimited back to town. The group invites conservation-minded people to join them in reforming the local chapter in Chickasha. For additional information, please call 222-1510 or 222-4799.



Bereavement Support Group

• Where: LifeLine Hospice Office, 1701 Iowa, Chickasha.

Kid’s Crew Worship

• Who: First Baptist Church, Chickasha

• When: Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

• Details: A worship service designed especially for students in grade K-5. Rides are available by calling 224-5196. Vans run at 9 a.m. for Sunday school and again at 11:45 a.m. to return children home.



Borden Community Center

• What: Free Line Dance Lessons

• When: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Mondays of the month; 1-3 p. m.

Blood Drive

• Details: Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) will reward each donor’s giving spirit with a warm beanie cap.  Anyone, who is healthy and 17 years or older, can donate blood.
