GRADY COUNTY —
The official sample ballot for the upcoming November general election was released and will be posted for public viewing at local voting precincts in Grady County.
Grady County Election Board Secretary Susan Turner said, "The sample ballot is available for people to review the wording before the election. And as always, we are here for any questions or concerns that people may have."
Turner stressed the deadline for voter registration is Friday, October 12. Voter registration forms are available at the election board office located at 307 W. Pennsylvania in Chickasha, local post offices, public libraries, and tag agencies or downloaded at the Oklahoma State Election Board website.
"If someone has not received their voter registration card in the mail, it may have been returned to us here at the election board. Just give us a call or come by and we can check to see where it is," said Turner. "It is also very important to register using the same name that appears on their driver licenses or other form of identification"
