With the Aug. 28 special election only a few weeks away, the Blanchard Chamber of Commerce held a candidate forum Aug. 9 that included all registered city council candidates.
Wards one and three spots are vacant after a series of mishaps in the Blanchard City Council. Chamber Executive Director Laura Callaham moderated the debate, asking a variety of question that focused on issues that lead to the need for this special election.

Grady County residents continued to show their support for tornado victims yesterday afternoon, donating to the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) drive at Salt Creek Casino.

Kittens coming along after dumpster dispair
