Help sought
to spay, neuter cats
Sponsors are again needed to help spay and neuter stray and feral cats in Chickasha. The Spay and Neuter Clinic in Norman will spay female cats for $30 and neuter male cats for $25. The price also includes a rabies vaccination.
If we can catch and spay or neuter the strays, they can be released back where they were captured and can live out their lives no longer contributing to the over population of stray animals.
Every cat that is spayed or neutered will have a permanent mark which will help identify them as "fixed" if they are caught again in the future.
The spay clinic will also spay or neuter your pet cats at the same price if your income is less than $35,000 annually.
The cost to spay or neuter a dog is $40.
There are now six kittens who need sponsors and 15 more were recently dumped. They are strays, but are not wild. These kittens need to be spayed or neutered and fostered until homes can be found for them.
If you would like to foster a kitten and help with this worthwhile project, please call Pam at 405-201-2193.
