— A one-vehicle accident that occurred early Friday morning in Grady County may have been caused by alcohol and excessive speed, reported the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The accdient occured at 3 a.m. on June 1 on County Road 1570, .10 mile west of County Street 2839. Trooper Brent Tucker reported that Stacie Renee Ferguson, 42, Rush Springs was driving a 2009 Chevy Aveo when she ran off the road to the right. She struck a small tree, jumped a creek bed, landed and rolled one time. Ferguson was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital and then transferred to St. Anthony Hospital. She was listed in serious condition with head and leg injuries.
Tucker reported an odor of alcohol was detected. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
