The next children’s art class is Sat., Aug. 4, 2012 from 9:30-11:30 am in the Shannon Springs Bath House, located near the Chickasha Swimming Pool.
Jonathan Manning, local Chickasha artist and owner of Oasis Galleries and Studio, will lead this entertaining class of learning how to draw dogs and cats.
Children, 4 years old through 5th grade, may register for the class.
Adult caregivers must accompany all participating children.
The class is limited to 15 children and pre-registration is required. A ‘wait list’ will be made.
Reservations are to be made by calling Susan at 405-222-4797 or emailing info@chickashaarts.org. Give the name and age or grade of each child participating, adult attending with the child, a contact phone number and an email address, if available. An email confirmation will be returned to those registering by email.
This is a free arts event for children and is sponsored and facilitated by the Chickasha Area Arts Council (CAAC) The monthly workshops are funded by the First National Bank and Trust Company of Chickasha.
