Jurors in the first degree manslaughter trial of Brandon Dunn learned Wednesday that testimony will continue into next week.
The announcement by Grady County District Judge Richard Van Dyck came at the end of a day in which the nine-woman, three-man jury listened to a tape of the 911 call made by Dunn's brother, Kaleb, and also heard from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper who investigated the fatal one-vehicle accident on a Grady County road.
Brandon Dunn, 36, was driving the homemade off-road vehicle the night of Oct. 6, 2009, when the vehicle veered out of control and rolled over, killing Joshua Watkins of Lindsay. Prosecutors contend Dunn was drunk when the accident occurred.
