    The memorial service for William Edward Stinnett, 71 year-old Enid resident will be 10:AM Monday in in St. Gregory’s the Great Catholic Church. The Rev. R.K. Mankena will officiate. AQ private family burial will be at a later date. Recitation of the Rosary will be.at 7PM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel Wade Laffey will preside.

    William Edward "Bill" Stinnett was born in Salina Kansas on May 15, 1940. He passed away on April 10, 2012 in Enid OK after a short illness. He was married to Monica Brockman on September 7, 1959 at the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Enid Ok. They made their home in North Enid Ok. where they raised their two children. They were married for 52 years.

    William was a member of the St. Gregory's Catholic Church and was also a member at the Enid Moose Lodge. William was self-employed with his own janitorial service called "The Dust Mop" for the last 37 years. He enjoyed polka dancing as well as playing the guitar at family gatherings.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Christina Stinnett, one brother Albert, two sisters Kay and Nancy as well as two infant children.

    William is survived by his wife Monica of the home, 2 sisters; Betty and husband Jerry Brown of Kansas City MO, Bernice and husband Jack Foreman of Malakoff TX, one brother George Stinnett of Soldotna Alaska, one daughter Shari and husband Patrick Delaney of Silver Spring MD, one son Chris and wife Laurie Stinnett of Chickasha OK, seven grandchildren - Maggie, Katie, Abby and Jack Delaney of Silver Spring MD, Chelsie Cheves of Stillwater OK, Cody and wife Dianne Stinnett of Carl Junction MO, Christopher Kyle and wife Amanda Stinnett of Enid OK, stepgrandson Shane Seitz of Chickasha OK, and two Great Grandkids; Gabriel Cheves of Stillwater Ok, and Brielle Stinnett of Carl Junction MO.

  • Patsy McDonald Rhymes

    Patsy McDonald Rhymes, 62, of Chickasha, beloved wife of Danny Rhymes, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.  She will be greatly missed by a large and loving extended family and many friends.  Patsy was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her time caring for her family. 
    She is survived by her husband Danny, her son Starling and his wife Connie, and grandchildren Rochelle and Michael.  Patsy was especially close to her niece Pam and also leaves behind her brothers Charles, Paige, and Roland along with her sisters Thelma and Jeana. 
    Graveside services were held in Hominy,  on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by her longtime family minister, Rev. Leonard Lindsay.  Arrangements are being handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.

    Private graveside services were held for Noyka Hadley, 67, of Chickasha, on Wednesday May 15, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
    Noyka was born on February 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She died May 11, 2013, in Chickasha.
    Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

  • Lois Morris

    Funeral service for Lois Morris, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha.  Lois was born June 13, 1923, the daughter of Elva L. and Eva Opal (Heavin) Keeton.  She died May 13, 2013, in Muskogee.

    Graveside services for Betty Jo James, 84.will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in Elk City and Wednesday and Thursday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs.
    Betty was born in Cox City,  on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1928 and passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Elk City.

  • Freida Perkins

    Funeral services for Freida Perkins, 95, of Chickasha,  will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
    Freida Perkins was born March 19, 1918, at Kalamazoo, Michigan.  She passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
    Mrs. Perkins married Daniel Perkins on November 14, 1940.  She and Daniel lived in New Mexico from 1940 to 1980, when they moved to the Amber area.
    She had worked in the New Mexico public school system and after moving to Amber she worked at the Amber Café for seven years.
    She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Perkins in 1986 and a son, Danny Perkins in 2010.
    Mrs. Perkins is survived by a sister, Esther Healey, of PawPaw, Michigan; four grandchildren:  Penny Fuller, George Perkins, Wayne Perkins and T.J. Perkins; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; Daughter-in-law:  Wynema Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Carla and Eddie.
    Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
