Joel was a man with a passion for cattle and spent many hours taking care of and training racehorses, his favorite being Billie Smooth. When you couldn’t find Joel at the race track or in the horse stables, you could find him working cattle or making money in the oilfields. Joel shared his love for horses and music with his daughters who grew up on a farm northwest of Cement. He had a wonderful sense of humor and brought smiles and joy to everyone he met and will be missed dearly!
He is survived by his three daughters: Kami Middleton, Jordan Landers, and Morgan Bolin, all of Cyril; four grandchildren: Logan and Kylee Lawrence, Madyson Landers, and soon-to-arrive Londyn Middleton; a sister, Robbie Davis; a niece, Michelle Peterson and her husband Vern; three nephews: Destin and Shawn Bitsche and Deano Davis; two great nieces: Lexi Bitsche and Addisyn Peterson; three great nephews: Austin and Ryland Bitsche and Braedn Peterson; and many many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Betty Bolin.
