Billy Eugene Williamson
Memorial services for Billy Eugene Williamson, 78, of Alex will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Alex Southern Baptist Church with Don Chaffin officiating. It will be a joint service for Billy Eugene Williamson & Mollie Sue Williamson.
Billy Eugene Williamson was born in Eakly, on July 4, 1934, to John D. and Dessie Edna (Smith) Williamson. He died on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at home in Alex.
Billy grew up and attended school in Eakly. He married Mollie Sue Drennan in Coalgate, on Jan. 23, 1953. They spent almost 53 years together making a loving home for their family before she passed away in December of 2005.
Billy enjoyed motorcycling and boating and was a member of the Anadarko JC Club. He was active in the bus ministry in Norman and was a member of the Alex Southern Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by both parents; his wife, Mollie Sue Williamson; and one grandson, Scott Williamson.
Survivors include: son, Billy G. Williamson and his children, Shannon Roadifer and husband Dustin and Sandra Trotter and husband Trent all of Alex; daughter, Dessie Allison and husband Robert of Ardmore and their children, Russell Allison and wife Monica of Arlington, Texas, and Robbie Starns and husband Brad of Buffalo, Texas; son, Danny Williamson and his son, John Williamson both of Oklahoma City; brother, J.D. Williamson of Oklahoma City; nine great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Theodore "Ted" A. Diaconoff
Ted Diaconoff, age 84 of Chickasha, was born the son of Andre Diaconoff and Evelyn Hotson Diaconoff on Oct. 7, 1928, in Akron, Ohio. He died on May 19, 2013 in Chickasha.
After receiving his masters degree, Ted continued his education and received his Phd at UCLA. He also attended the Juilliard School of Music in New York City where he studied piano and composition and was a faculty assistant. He later held teaching positions at universities in Michigan, Kentucky, then at USAO in Chickasha where he was a professor of music.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty.
Survivors include his brothers, Phillip Diaconoff of Livermore, Calif. and Peter Diaconoff of Santa Fe, NM.
Arrangements for cremation are with the McRay Funeral Home. There will be no services. -
Patsy McDonald Rhymes
Patsy McDonald Rhymes, 62, of Chickasha, beloved wife of Danny Rhymes, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She will be greatly missed by a large and loving extended family and many friends. Patsy was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her time caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Danny, her son Starling and his wife Connie, and grandchildren Rochelle and Michael. Patsy was especially close to her niece Pam and also leaves behind her brothers Charles, Paige, and Roland along with her sisters Thelma and Jeana.
Graveside services were held in Hominy, on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by her longtime family minister, Rev. Leonard Lindsay. Arrangements are being handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. -
Nyoka “Jo” Hadley
Private graveside services were held for Noyka Hadley, 67, of Chickasha, on Wednesday May 15, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
Noyka was born on February 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She died May 11, 2013, in Chickasha.
Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Lois Morris
Funeral service for Lois Morris, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha. Lois was born June 13, 1923, the daughter of Elva L. and Eva Opal (Heavin) Keeton. She died May 13, 2013, in Muskogee.

Graveside services for Betty Jo James, 84.will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in Elk City and Wednesday and Thursday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs.
Betty was born in Cox City, on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1928 and passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Elk City.

Freida Perkins
Funeral services for Freida Perkins, 95, of Chickasha, will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Freida Perkins was born March 19, 1918, at Kalamazoo, Michigan. She passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Mrs. Perkins married Daniel Perkins on November 14, 1940. She and Daniel lived in New Mexico from 1940 to 1980, when they moved to the Amber area.
She had worked in the New Mexico public school system and after moving to Amber she worked at the Amber Café for seven years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Perkins in 1986 and a son, Danny Perkins in 2010.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by a sister, Esther Healey, of PawPaw, Michigan; four grandchildren: Penny Fuller, George Perkins, Wayne Perkins and T.J. Perkins; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; Daughter-in-law: Wynema Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Carla and Eddie.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. -
